"We believe
that to have good neighbors, we first must strive to be good
neighbors by reaching out to individuals, one by one, person by
person… Our world is a small, precious place… we cannot allow
distance to define who is our neighbor."
At Pantheon Chemical, we are dedicated to
supporting the environment and the communities in which we
operate. While there are multitudes of causes and organizations
that we believe in, it is not possible for us to be involved in
or support them all. As Pantheon Chemical grows, the energy we
direct into our communities will continue to expand to help
others grow and progress with us.
Pantheon Chemical's commitment to inspire
change guides us to make financial and personal time commitments
to the following events and organizations:
March of Dimes
Q2 of 2006 Pantheon Chemical accepted the challenge to raise money for a very
special and important cause, The March of Dimes. As part of our commitment
Pantheon Chemical took on several fundraising events at our offices such as
department penny wars, bake sales, cash for jean days, as well as many others.
We also individually registered on-line to help raise money from family and
friends. April 1st, we joined thousands of others in the local 6K walk. An
amazing event! The funds we raised for WalkAmerica supports research that saves
babies lives from birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We are
looking forward to next year.
Habitat for Humanity
Pantheon Chemical employees and our families proudly helped build homes for
Habitat for Humanity in February of 2005 and 2006. The Pantheon team provided
with the structuring, paint, roof work and installations. Not only is it an
opportunity for a teambuilding exercise for our staff, but a chance for us to
express the gift of giving to those who deserve a new beginning. Habitat for
Humanity is one of our top priority volunteer projects and will continue to be
for several years to come.
Ronald McDonald House
4th Quarter 2005 several Pantheon employees and their families came together to cook dinner and spend time with children who have serious illnesses. We had the children blow up balloons and tie them to the dining chairs to make a more festive atmosphere. The children and families who are temporarily residing at the facility are truly strong and amazing people with a great support system. We were able to learn from the children and take with us a new founded faith that anything is possible. Thank you, Ronald McDonald House!
Katrina Relief
September of 2005 Pantheon Chemical employees volunteered their time through The
Salvation Army to help sort and distribute clothing items, organize sleeping
areas, and cook meals for Katrina Relief Victims. The Veteran's Memorial
Coliseum in Phoenix held 500 evacuees to help shelter those whose homes were
destroyed by the hurricane. It was a remarkable experience!
